Armitage Leather

Nigel has been a bespoke maker for thirty years focusing on the longstanding traditions of making leather goods completely by hand. Six years ago, after many requests, Nigel began teaching one to one classes to pass on these techniques. In more recent years this has expanded to include a comprehensive online resource which can be found across YouTube and Vimeo. Today, Nigel can now be found passing on his skills offering both individual and group courses in his Midlands based workshop which has been specifically designed around teaching the craft.

B18 Leather/Deborette Creative

Deborette Clarke is a designer/maker with a wealth of experience that covers many areas in the creative sector. I design and make small leather goods under the label B18 Leather. I am a qualified secondary school teacher with a specialism in Art & Design and Design & Technology, having taught for seventeen years. My background is in Fashion and Textiles. Whilst working on a variety of workshops for museums I decided to offer pop up workshops, which I later started running from my studio. The workshops and short courses have been created to be fun and informative. Most are suitable for a beginner or improver. They currently take place on weekends.

Bonner Leather Studio
