The UK Leather Federation (UKLF) is uniquely placed within the British leather industry as the only organisation involved in all sectors, from raw materials to finished product. In early 2017, UKLF published a five-year strategy to tackle the issues and challenges facing the British leather industry.
Following the publication of the strategy, UKLF have conducted further research. The images below show our findings of the relative strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats currently facing the British leather industry. We wish to provide this initial consultation to the industry and gather further feedback to refine our five-year strategy.
