The Leathersellers' Company have announced that their Leather Associated Student Grants Programme is now open for applications.
Through this focused programme of student grants, the Leathersellers’ Company Charitable Fund aims to support individuals based in the UK:
The Company consider “Leather Associated studies” to have a relatively broad interpretation, and might include those working with leather within the world of fashion, product design and engineering, in addition to leather technologists, chemical engineers, product development technicians and process control engineers.
Leather associated studies might also include business-focused studies covering areas such as quality, environment, health and safety, engineering, electronics, IT, finance, logistics, sales, marketing, design, project and supply chain management, providing the individual has an existing connection and desire to work in the leather industry in the future. It would also encompass PHD students focused on leather related studies.
Full details and the link to the application form are available here.
Applications must be received via the online form by Thursday 15th April 2021.
