The Indian government scraps the requirement for veterinary certificates.

As a result of a campaign by COTANCE, supported by the Spanish and Italian associations, the Indian Government has published an order, removing the requirement for health certificates for part-processed and finished leather imports in to India. This eliminates an expensive requirement for those manufacturers exporting leather to India. The text of the order can be found below.
