BEIS invites you a seminar of preparing for Brexit (webinar) on the 6th and 10th of September. See below for details and their invitation.
"As you will be aware, last month the Government published updated guidance on placing goods on the UK market, placing goods on the EU market, using the UKCA marking, and the status of conformity assessment bodies. This guidance was published to provide further clarity for businesses if the UK were to leave the EU without a deal on 31 October.
Following on from this guidance, officials from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) hosted two WebExs last week concerning the regulation of manufactured goods covered by the “New Approach” (i.e. mostly CE marked goods) in the event of no deal.
We will be hosting the same event via WebEx on Friday 6 September and Tuesday 10 September for those who were unable to attend the events last week.
During this event, BEIS officials will provide an update on no deal preparations and there will then be the opportunity to ask questions concerning goods regulation in the event on no deal and how your business should be preparing.
The event will be hosted via WebEx and there are two dates to choose from. Further instructions on how to join the Webex (including dial-in details) will be circulated two to three days prior to the event.
There are currently two dates available with limited places on each. Please see links to both events below.
