As you may be aware, after much thought a few weeks into lockdown, we decided to limit the provision of all COVID-19 related articles, such as the BEIS Coronavirus Bulletin for Business and Employers and other such updates to Leather UK members only.
This decision was not taken lightly, but was made in order to maximise the value we offer to our members during these difficult times. Providing a public service is for organisations who are publicly funded, which we are not.
We have had considerable feedback from our members regarding this daily information, and would like to remind all non-members that there has never been a better time to become a Leather UK member, for as little as £5 a month.
Leather UK is committed to protecting the unique identity of leather as a sustainable and beautiful product and working together as one united sector to promote the UK leather brand at home and abroad. We provide an array of services to our members, including business support and networking. We represent the entire UK leather industry at a national and international level through utilising our membership of affiliated organisations to broaden and add strength to our own representations in the UK and Europe. We also produce consumer education campaigns; industry-focused PR and marketing.
By supporting Leather UK, you will be contributing to our work to protect the identity of leather, to challenge the mistruths spread by agenda organisations, to promote leather as a sustainable and beautiful product, and supporting our lobbying activities to ensure that the voice of industry is heard by government, both nationally and internationally.
