We're thrilled to confirm our next Leather UK member event will be hosted at the new University of Northampton Waterside Campus on Tuesday 17th September.
The new £330 million campus commences its second year in the new location next to the river Nene this September. This will be joined by the new Institute for Creative Leather Technologies (ICLT) building, complete with model tannery.
The programme for the day is still being fine-tuned, but we anticipate that it will run from 10.00 - 16.00 and will commence with a tour of the new ICLT facility. This will be followed by a live demo by a master leather craftsman, a session on how to get started with exporting and will conclude with a seminar of tips on how to keep your marketing and website up to date for busy makers. Lunch will be provided in the Leathersellers Hide, a social space at the top of the Learning Hub, with a huge terrace overlooking the whole of Northampton.
