CITES Preparedness Survey

The following information is from Defra.

Please see the attached leaflet that has been developed to explain the requirements for moving CITES specimens from 1st January 2021. CITES leaflet stakeholder version 20200903

The preparedness Survey will help us determine the level of awareness amongst stakeholders – it should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete, and we’re interested in responses from as wide a range of stakeholders as possible. Please share this link: https://defragroup.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_ekUnQhMFti9DjMN

The new Leaflet will shortly be sent hard copy to permit applicants. It contains a checklist to help stakeholders prepare, including how to find a suitable Point of Entry. The hard copy is a tri-fold format, which unfortunately we can’t replicate online.

Please forward any questions or concerns about CITES during and after the Transition Period to euexitcites@defra.gov.uk
