OTZI is a materials-led design studio and (workshop based in Norwich, East Anglia, creating handcrafted furniture and interior objects from sustainable native timbers, natural leathers and textiles.
Every object is hand made in the Norfolk workshop with permanence in mind. The design and material choices prioritise functionality, tactility, and durability.
Working with responsibly sourced leather, hardwoods, and natural fibres, OTZI uses only the highest-quality sustainable materials, placing equal importance on utility, integrity, and quiet visual refinement.
By using materials with character and making the pieces by hand, (OTZI creates individual pieces that are visibly unique from the outset. As they become part of daily life, surfaces soften and the material develops a patina distinct to its owner. The result is something that feels truly personal.
